I offer complete design services for gardens and landscapes in the greater Asheville area. My goal is to design magical gardens and landscapes that fit sensitively to the site, are imaginative and attuned to my client's needs and personality. I create environmentally sound and manageable schemes based on the architecture and natural surrounding landscape. This includes all styles of landscaping from contemporary meadow and rain gardens to traditional classical designs. Additional services are offered from one time consultations to preparing grading, drainage, lighting and irrigation plans, to finding the right contractors for installation as well as personal plant selections at local nurseries. I have been in practice for 30 years, have a BS degree in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University and Interior Design certificate from the New York School of Interior Design - this combination has trained me to easily relate interior to exterior design. My work has been published in magazines and books and in the Smithsonian Archives of American Gardens.My love of gardening and plants inspires every project I undertake, be it large or small.
